• Wide Format Paper
• Magnifiers

• Backpacks
• Calculators
• Folders
• Labels
• Glue
• Scissors (Safety and Standard)
• Rulers
• Drafting Tools (Compasses, Protractors, T-Squares)
• Crayons
• Markers (Sharpies, etc.)
• Hi-lighters
• Tissues
• Index Cards

Any or all of the above items would be appreciated for the kids.

Opening Statement from the VJA Resident Council

Hello! This is the opening blog statement for Vera Johnson A.  My name is Jon Zoota. I am the Vice President of the VJA Resident Council, and am here to serve our 76 residents.  People who know me, find that I am passionate about my job and that I am more passionate about my community. Our President, Quo, has been the active president of the Resident Council since 2009.  This blog will serve as a way to keep an open channel to communicate with our residents, friends, family and those who support us. What can one find here?  The Vera Johnson A Resident Council provides:

• Community Service
• Free Computer Access to our residents (courtesy of the Las Vegas Urban League)
• Free Events (Baseball games, etc.)
• Free access to our Recreation Center
• Toy Drives for our kids
